Let me first start by telling you that the cat is really two cats. They look alike and confuse me so I am not really sure which one is the trouble maker but I know one of them is. I have learned to touch the cats now. Well, mom is trying to teach me how to pet them, but for some reason, my little fingers just grab a hold of their hair and pull. This does not bother them at all. They do not move, they just sit there and take it.
Now that I am crawling, I can crawl over the top of them. One of them just lays there and does not move, but the other one runs away. So, now I know I have two cats and one is stupid and one is a chicken cat. They have different names, but they look alike.
I found a litter box again and that didn’t go over with mom. I guess this is the things a family has to go through when they have a baby, cats and dogs.

I just love it when mom or dad goes in the kitchen to cook or do something. I can hear what they are saying and what they are doing. They sure make some sounds I do not hear anywhere else in the house. Then I hear some words that I don’t normally hear either. They think that they are far away and I can’t hear, but I can. I have good ears and hearing.
I can crawl to the kitchen now and see what is going on. In fact, I like to go in there and see what they are doing. The only problem I have is that they drop things and I need to stay out of the way. I would hate to have spaghetti sauce all over my nice clean clothes.
Dad makes things to eat all the time. He sure does eat a lot for a skinny person. Mom likes to drink soda and dad likes to eat everything. I think the kitchen is kind of boring because all my food seems to come out of a bottle.
More exciting news tomorrow.

Let me first tell you that this is going to be scary so if you spook easily, you might not be able to read this. The first time I stood up in my crib, my mom thought it was so cute. Then when I managed to stand up by the side with the curtains, she didn’t think that was so funny. I guess you are not supposed to pull on the curtains or they fall down and hit you in the head.
Another problem with the crib is that when I poop and pee my diaper now that I sleep all night, I can make a horrible mess in my bed. Yes, I have become a bed wetter. I hope to grow out of this very quickly since I am a very good girl. Mom makes weird faces when she sees the mess.
Then there is the cat. Yes, the cat that thinks that my bed is his bed. I have learned to teach that cat a lesson it won’t forget. I grab its tail or fur and pull very hard. It runs away and does not try getting in my bed again for a while.
Then there is the mobile that needed to come down. Yes, I found it and dismantled it so to speak. It no longer hangs over my head at night scaring me when I look at it.
Now you know about the tales from the crib. Have a good day and come back tomorrow for some more fun tales.

We were all set to celebrate the New Year as a family since mom did not have to work after all. Unfortunately, I caught a cold and was all stuffed up. The trip to mom’s uncle’s house thirty miles away did not happen because I was sick. We did however, go about fifteen miles to one of dad’s friends house. It was closer and if I got crabby, dad said it would only take a short time to get home.
I was so looking forward to a celebration, but I was so cranky and stuffed up that it was really no fun for me at all. I guest I will have to wait until next year to have fun on New Years Eve. It was awful boring if you ask me.
Now it is time to settle back into a normal routine again since all the holiday commotion is over. I am looking forward to some rest and I hope I get rid of this cold very quickly.

Today is the last day of the year and everyone will be celebrating the New Year with those persons they care about and love. Guess what? My mom doesn’t have to work after all so we will be going to her uncles house about thirty miles away. You know what that means don’t you? I will be waking up in bed again and not knowing how I got there.
Then I heard about this thing that people do on New Years Day. They jump into the cold lake. You can read about it here. I am a little confused about this strange happening, but dad said that they do it every year. It seems different and cold to me.
If you could jump in the lake on a cold winter day, would you do it?

Well Christmas celebrations are done and now we are waiting the New Years Eve. Mom has to work so dad and I are going to stay home and celebrate the New Year by ourselves. We are going to play and watch TV. Dad said that I can stay up a little later if I want to because mom will get home after midnight and she will be tired.
I am going to miss my mom, but dad said that we would have fun playing. He said that grandma is making turkey dinners for everyone so he is going to go over to her house, get the food, and bring it home so mom can eat before she goes to work.
I can’t wait to see what the New Year Eve is like.

We have a fish aquarium with some fish in it. More pets I never knew anything about. The thing is, I found the aquarium when I was crawling around and found a cord to pull on. Yes, mom was right there to say no to me. Then she told dad that they had to do something to hide the cords.
That statement meant that they had to move the living room around to make sure that I could not find the cord anymore. Now, I have to find something else to play with besides my toys. Yes, I like my toys, but when something catches my eye, I have to go and check it out. I am a curious little girl. Mom says that I am a nosey little princess.
I also found one of the two cat litter boxes. I have been told that this is off limits to me. I watched the cat pee in it and then mom told me it was yucky. Well, it is now that the cat peed in it. I could have played in it before that. It looked like a sand box, but I guess not.
I am ready for my last Christmas party today. Dad can’t wait for all this to be over so we can stay home and rest.

Santa Claus left me some more toys and clothes. I must be a very good girl because I got a lot of things. I have to say, I like that wrapping paper for some reason. It doesn’t have a good taste, but for some reason, I can’t stop putting it in my mouth. I don’t understand why I have this urge to put the paper in my mouth.
Dad got a wallet, a movie called Black Night from my mom, and he gave my mom a necklace and CD by Nickelback. They said that they were going light on gifts this year because my dad is saving money in cases he gets laid off and my mom does not work much during the winter. She has a seasonal job as she calls it.
I like having my mom and dad home together. Tomorrow we have our last Christmas party with dad’s dad and wife. Then it will be time for something they are calling New Years Eve. Something new again. I wonder if I get presents for that to.

Christmas Eve festivities included going to another grandma’s house and eating, playing and opening even more presents. Mom and dad said that we will need to get a huge house to live in because my presents are taking up the entire apartment. I got a lot of toys and clothes. Then it was time to head home. Guess what? I fell asleep again and when I woke up, I was in my bed again. This is starting to be a habit.
This is going to be short today because it is Christmas morning and I have Santa Claus presents to open now. There are sure a lot of presents under that tree. I think they are all for me.
What did everyone else get for Christmas?

I am feeling a little teary eyed as I say Merry Christmas to everyone. This is my first Christmas and so far, I am enjoying myself. I wish for everyone a happy and joyous time and I hope you get lots of things that you want for Christmas, but mostly I hope you have families to share time with.
If you have a little time, could you say a little prayer for those less fortunate than you are and hope that they have a warm place to sleep and celebrate the holiday. I know this a lot to ask, but I know there are people that do not have places to live or sleep. I wish everyone could enjoy a home and a warm bed to sleep in like me.
If you get out on Christmas, maybe you could say Merry Christmas to everyone you see and make their day a little brighter.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all and to all a good day.
