Mom had to go to work yesterday and I stayed with dad. He slept during the day and then got up early to watch me. We have so much fun. He pampers me and spoils me. He will not let me get dirty. As soon as I spit or spill on myself, he is changing my clothes. Mom is going to get mad when she sees all that wash, I wanted to tell him. Dad just wants me to be pretty all the time.
Dad’s friend came over and they talk very loud. I think they have a competition to see who is the loudest. Even if I anted to go to sleep, I would not be able to. When mom came home, she talked a little then she put me to bed because the man left. It was so quiet and I could fall asleep after my bottle.
We might get some more snow this weekend, but mom thinks it is to cold. It was only 8 degrees yesterday. That sounds cold.
Yes, as you can see, we had more snow yesterday and I think people are starting to get crabby about it. We now have 8.5 inches and this is only the beginning of December. I heard mom and dad talking that last year we had 85 inches of snow. Where do they put all that snow? I am to little to go outside with all that snow. It would cover me up. Dad is mad because the men that plows the parking lot where we live plows the cars in that are parked there and then the owners have to shovel them out by hand.
There is not much going on anymore now that we stay home all the time. I am getting a lot of practice with my crawling though. I am going to be fast. I am almost up on all fours now. It is a matter of days and I will be going strong. Then mom will be busy.
A knew toy is always something that brightens a babies day, but when it makes lots of noises, it can be exciting. It can also be a painful thing for the parents. I got a book piano and I can bang on the keys and make noises. I am going to be a rock star like my daddy. I think this is the best thing I ever have seen. I make music and drive my mom crazy. I love it and no one can take it away from me. I cried and would not stop until I got it back. I thought that my mom would put me in my bedroom, but she let me stay in the living room with her.
There are more toys that I want and I hope I get them for Christmas. Santa Claus can bring me all kinds of toys. I have plenty of room in my bedroom for more toys. I am going to be a musician, so Santa Claus should bring me musical toys.
I am just like this baby sometimes when I am eating my vegetables. I did this on Thanksgiving when one of my great aunts gave me yams, then potatoes and gravy. This baby is so funny. I like watching this one.
I am getting better at making the move. Every day I get a little better and I work at it. No one helps me, I have to do the crawl all by myself. I found this video and it reminds me of me trying to crawl and everyone moving things farther away from me when I get close. Why do they do this to us little people? Don’t they realize that we are working very hard to get the object that we want?
It is pretty cold here so I have plenty of time to practice the crawl. That sounds like a dance doesn’t it. My mom was watching a video of a wedding they went to and people were doing the worm. It looks the same as what I am doing now. Hehe.
Yesterday was a snowstorm, but it wasn’t as bad as what they said it was going to be. It was rain then snow and then rain. But at night, it started snowing hard, but dad said that it was only a couple inches instead of ten inches we were supposed to get. I was dressed warm yesterday and I the house was nice and warm.
Mom said that if we had a fireplace it would be toasty, but dad said that wouldn’t work with me around. He said I would be in it all the time. What was he talking about? What is a fireplace and why would I want to play in it?
My daddy is funny sometimes. Mom is always laughing at him and saying things to him. He took the dog outside in the rain and when he came in, he shook all over mom. It was funny. Hehe.
I live in a funny house. Mom and dad as well as the dog are always doing funny things.
I guest that my mom needed a night out with friends because she left me and dad home along. We watched TV and dad played video games. I smile when he plays because he looks so funny playing that guitar. Then he played his other game on an Xbox. He has many toys to play with. I hope when I get big I can play with them, but it will have to be when my mom is gone. She said that I am not going to be addicted to video games. If I keep watching my dad, I will.
Dad let me stay up a little later since he figured mom would want to see a little later. He is a nice dad. I was ready to go to sleep and I started falling asleep so he put me to bed.
Tomorrow they say that we are going to get almost 10 inches of snow. I will have to see that. I wonder if that is a lot.
We have so many families because all the grandmas and grandpas are divorced and with other grandmas and grandpas, that holidays go for days. Thursday was with my dads mom’s side of the family. Friday was with my moms, mom’s side of the family and Sunday will be with my dads, dad. I can see these holidays being long because we have so many places to go. Wait until Christmas my dad told me. We have Christmas with his mom’s family on December 20, Christmas Eve with moms, mom. Then we have Christmas Day with Dads, dad. I am going to be crabby. I know it already.
Well, with so many families, I bet I will get lots of pretty clothes and toys. Wow, I can’t wait to see what I get. Dad said that Santa Claus will bring me toys as well. I am excited.
Well I had a good turkey day as the people called it. We went to Uncle Gary’s and there were lots of kids and big people. We watched the Detroit Lions game and everyone sat around drinking beer, soda and mixed drinks. When it was time to eat, everyone grabbed their food and sat in front of the TV watching football. I got to practice crawling while everyone ate.
Everybody looked through sales flyers and everyone was saying I want this and I want that. Then they all plan their Black Friday time schedule for when they were going shopping. Some were going at midnight out of town and some were going in town at midnight, four and six. No one was going to sleep.
I had fun and all the kids wanted to hold me and carry me around. I was smiling and having fun. Hope everyone else had a good turkey day, I did.
Dad did not have to work because things are slow. So, he went to grandma’s house to wash clothes and eat pizza. He said that aunt guppie (Amanda is her real name but somebody named her guppie) was there and everyone searched the Internet for a Wii and Wii Fit for grandma. From what I heard from dad, it is a hard thing to find. These people are getting out of bed early on Black Friday to go looking for a Wii and a laptop for guppie.
Dad said that grandma and guppie might go stand in line at 12 midnight to get things. That is to early for dad. He said the store he is going to opens at seven so he is going at 6 in the morning. I have heard about Black Friday and I am glad I am staying home.
My grandpa and step grandma came for a visit. Usually we go their house, but they came to see me this time. I had fun. I was smiling and everyone was laughing at me.
