From The Mouth Of A Baby

I guest that my mom needed a night out with friends because she left me and dad home along. We watched TV and dad played video games. I smile when he plays because he looks so funny playing that guitar. Then he played his other game on an Xbox. He has many toys to play with. I hope when I get big I can play with them, but it will have to be when my mom is gone. She said that I am not going to be addicted to video games. If I keep watching my dad, I will.

Dad let me stay up a little later since he figured mom would want to see a little later. He is a nice dad. I was ready to go to sleep and I started falling asleep so he put me to bed.

Tomorrow they say that we are going to get almost 10 inches of snow. I will have to see that. I wonder if that is a lot.

We have so many families because all the grandmas and grandpas are divorced and with other grandmas and grandpas, that holidays go for days. Thursday was with my dads mom’s side of the family. Friday was with my moms, mom’s side of the family and Sunday will be with my dads, dad. I can see these holidays being long because we have so many places to go. Wait until Christmas my dad told me. We have Christmas with his mom’s family on December 20, Christmas Eve with moms, mom. Then we have Christmas Day with Dads, dad. I am going to be crabby. I know it already.

Well, with so many families, I bet I will get lots of pretty clothes and toys. Wow, I can’t wait to see what I get. Dad said that Santa Claus will bring me toys as well. I am excited.

Well I had a good turkey day as the people called it. We went to Uncle Gary’s and there were lots of kids and big people. We watched the Detroit Lions game and everyone sat around drinking beer, soda and mixed drinks. When it was time to eat, everyone grabbed their food and sat in front of the TV watching football. I got to practice crawling while everyone ate.

Everybody looked through sales flyers and everyone was saying I want this and I want that. Then they all plan their Black Friday time schedule for when they were going shopping. Some were going at midnight out of town and some were going in town at midnight, four and six. No one was going to sleep.

I had fun and all the kids wanted to hold me and carry me around. I was smiling and having fun. Hope everyone else had a good turkey day, I did.

Dad did not have to work because things are slow. So, he went to grandma’s house to wash clothes and eat pizza. He said that aunt guppie (Amanda is her real name but somebody named her guppie) was there and everyone searched the Internet for a Wii and Wii Fit for grandma. From what I heard from dad, it is a hard thing to find. These people are getting out of bed early on Black Friday to go looking for a Wii and a laptop for guppie.

Dad said that grandma and guppie might go stand in line at 12 midnight to get things. That is to early for dad. He said the store he is going to opens at seven so he is going at 6 in the morning. I have heard about Black Friday and I am glad I am staying home.

My grandpa and step grandma came for a visit. Usually we go their house, but they came to see me this time. I had fun. I was smiling and everyone was laughing at me.

Mom was in the kitchen trying to make an apple pie and you should have heard the words coming out of her mouth. I bet you that she didn’t know I could hear her because I was pretending to still be sleeping. When I heard the first word, I decided to just keep quiet and listen.

She was talking to herself and she said one tablespoon not a teaspoon you idiot. Then I heard her say where the hell did I put that measuring spoon. Then the words went on as she dropped something in the sink it sounded like and it broke. It was funny, but I just laid there as quiet as could be.

She peeked in at me once and she saw that I was awake, but she went back into the kitchen. She probably doesn’t think I saw her, but I did. After I heard her put the apple pie in the oven, I decided it was time to let her know I was awake. It sure did smell good, but I didn’t get any. Dad ate a lot with ice cream on it.

Yes, I am going to be doing everything pretty fast it seems. I am getting my legs to move and push me forwards. This is a big deal for me since I am know it is not going to be long and I will be ruling the house. Cats will be hiding and mom will be chasing me. I am going to enjoy this new adventure. I just can’t wait until I can make everything work together. Right now, I push myself forward and do a nose dive on the floor. My arms have to move as well and right now they just stay back and down I go.

I know that I saw mom laughing at me, but when I puckered up my lip, she started talking sweet to me. I know the truth and she was laughing. Just wait until I can really move, she won’t be laughing anymore. I am going to be fast.

My vegetables I had for dinner last night were good. They were peas. It was green, but it tasted okay. Then I had to wash it down with a bottle. I can’t wait until I get fruits. I heard from another baby that they are really good.

So this is what it looks like to have snow. Everything is white. The trees, the ground and my daddy’s car. Mom says that it is going to melt because it is supposed to be a little warmer.

Anyway, yesterday, we stayed in the house and I got to sit in my bathtub. There was no water. I think that they bought it thinking that it will keep me in one place when I start moving more. I can already prop myself up on my elbows and turn my head all around. I am a fast learner everyone said.

I roll over and if mom puts me on my back, I am over on my stomach with my head in the air in no time. Pretty soon, I am going to crawl to that cat thing over there. Mom calls it a litter box. It is so close that I think I can get there faster than mom can catch me. That is what I am going to work on next.

This crawling thing is going to be fun. Hehe. I can’t wait.

Babies need to dress up for the cold. I for one do not like putting on that snowsuit. It makes it hard for me to move. I could not find my hands yesterday and that made me very upset. I for one like to put my hand in mouth and touch things. Then when we go into the store, of course, we had to take it off. Then when it is time to leave, we have to put it on while I am sitting in my car seat in the cart. I thought for sure I was going over the side unto the floor. Just throw a blanket over me and I am ready to go.

I don’t think I am going to like this cold weather. We need to move to somewhere warmer all the time. I feel like a rag doll getting pushed into that snowsuit. I am going to protest next time I can tell you that.

I was wide awake yesterday and I though I told grandma what to write, but I guess I was dreaming because she didn’t write anything. They say that these things only happen when you get older, but I am a little young for that, but grandma might just be losing her mind. My words never made it to you. I am sorry that grandma did this. She got a god talking to, I will tell you that much.

I enjoy telling everyone what happens to me every day. I think that grandma is a little stressed out because she is looking for more work this week. She loves to blog and keeps looking for blogging jobs, but as everyone knows, for every job there is to be found, there are thousands of applicants.

I am having no fun at all. It is so cold here that I could not go outside. It was only 23 degrees and it is supposed to be colder this weekend. I played with some of my toys and watched some TV with mom. I am becoming a real General Hospital fan. Grandma likes something different, but mom and I like GH.

Now that the windows are closed, I sleep a little better at night and that train does not wake me up every night, but I can still feel the vibration and it is a block away. We need to move is all I can say. Mom said that my dad is a gaming addict and she is not going to teach me how to play video games, but dad said that would teach me when I am older. It sounds like it will be fun.

Well that is all for now. I am going to watch grandma post this now so that I know that she does it.

I just love my new bathtub. I have so much fun. Even if I have to take a bath every day, I will be happy. I love my ducky. If I squeeze his red beak, it quacks like a duck and I laugh so hard, I pee. Then mom has to take me out of the water really fast. Hehe.

People keep telling my mom that when I get bigger I am going to run around and do this and do that. How do these people know what I am going to do? I am going to shock them all and do different things than what they say.

Mom has been taking some pictures of me in my new bathtub, but she won’t post them because I am a modest girl. One person told my mom to just wait until I can crawl and walk, I will be ripping off my diaper and my clothes and running around naked. I don’t think so. I am going to be a good girl.

I saw the dog eating the cat’s food yesterday. I know mom did not see it, because if she did the dog would be in trouble.
