From The Mouth Of A Baby

Yesterday was cold and windy outside so mom and dad stayed inside. The clouds were dark and it only rained in sprinkles. I thought my dad said it was going to snow, but it didn’t. My dad sat around and watched his hockey game while mom was busy in the kitchen. Then you know he had to play that Guitar Hero game or whatever it is called.

The dog had to go to the bathroom when it was raining and when he came back inside he was wet. He shook all over me and got me wet. How rude that dog is to me. I can make my own messes and I don’t need his help so I cried real hard. That will teach him to do that again. I got him in trouble. Hehe

My Halloween kitty costume is going to be cute. I will have to make sure mom takes lots of pictures. I think she will take me to people’s houses to show me off. I know that she has to work this week since she was off all last week. I am kind of excited since this is my first Halloween. I hope no one scares me. I will cry.

I told you yesterday that Robin from Up State SC tagged me in a new game. Her blog is interesting to read. My mom reads it all the time and she has some interesting stuff about everything. I have eight blogs that I like to read, so I am going to play.

I have to post eight things about myself that no one knows about me. This could be tough since I tell you everything about myself, but there are some things I have kept secret.

1) I am a ham in front of the camera. When I see the camera come out, I do some funny things.

2) My grandma is a writer that tells me all kinds of things that would make my dad and mom mad. She writes this for me because I cannot type.

3) My aunt is gay and I like her, but she thinks that I don’t like her because I cry when she picks me up. That is only because I only see her when I am tried.

4) I don’t tell on the dog when he is biting the cat. Mom never finds out because I keep quiet.

5) I cry for no reason at all so that my mom will pick me up. I hope she never finds out.

6) I know when I poop in my diaper in the Jumperoo, but I keep jumping to make a mess so I get attention.

7) If I could vote, I would vote for that man, Obama, because that lady with that other guy scares me.

Grandma taught me how to stick out my tongue and my mom and dad don’t know how I learned it.

Yes, moms and dads go grocery shopping with babies and my mom and dad are no different. Dad pushes me in the cart while mom picks things she wants for the week. They never get anything for me. I always have to have a bottle with some icky tasting formula in it. If I could team up with other babies, we could form a no formula group. It tastes so bad. Even when dad tastes it to see if it is warm enough, he makes faces. He knows it is bad.

Wait until you see what I do tomorrow. A nice woman here that comes and visits me online to see what I have to say, tagged me in a game. I am going to play tomorrow. It should be fun since I like to watch the cat and dog play fight. I will enjoy playing this game. It will be my first game I ever played. She is a nice lady.

It seems as if the weather is getting colder and my mom seems to think that we need to stay home now because it is getting cold outside. I can go for rides in the car and be warm. I can’t go on walks anymore, which I really enjoy, but I will settle for a short car ride. Dad leaves the house every day so why is it we have to stay home. If my dad can get cold then so can I. Right?

Since I am going to be a homebody, I would like to talk with more people here. I like it when you people talk to me and understand my concerns about everything that happens to me. I am having a good day and mom seems content to sit in front of the TV. I should cry or something to get her attention, but I like telling everyone about my days. It gives me a voice that can be heard.

I am getting some cereal now at night. Just a little bit, but I like it. It helps my tummy stay full while I sleep longer. After all, mom said the goal is to get me to sleep all night without waking up for a quick bottle. She needs her beauty sleep dad said. I am so beautiful, I don’t need all that sleep. Hehe

I love my Jumperoo. I enjoy moving around and trying to jump up and down, but I have one small problem. It is not a good thing to sit in if you have to poop your diaper. It seems that when you jump up and down and get all excited, the poop comes out of the diaper and it isn’t a pretty sight. It goes up you tummy, down your legs and unto the carpet.

I live my Jumperoo, but it is going to be bad for me if I keep pooping and jumping while I am in it. I got dad and then I got mom. They never look very pleased when this stuff happens. They look so sad and then dad has to clean the carpet with a rag and soap. What they do to me is horrible. They take off my clothes on the kitchen floor and stick me in the tub.

After two accidents, I had to go back in the pack and play to play. That way I cannot mush the diaper if I go again. I thought I was over this pooping all the time, but then mom gave me prunes because I didn’t go. I think it is her fault I made the messes.

Don’t you agree with me?

Mom is going to take me trick or treating for Halloween. I am not sure what that is, but I think it will be scary. I saw a picture of costumes in a magazine mom was looking in and they looked really scary. I will put on a costume, but I want to be a princess, but mom said I am going to be something simple. Mom said that people give kids candy, but my dad will eat mine. Now, I don’t think that is fair. I want to eat candy.

I had a relaxing day yesterday. Mom doesn’t have to work again until Friday because this is the slow time for her job. That means that she is going to be home with me more. I like my mom and I don’t like it when people say I am a momma’s baby. I like my daddy to. I just like to be held by my mom. Dad is good to when mom is not around.

I got to go in my swing yesterday and I rocked for a while. I still don’t sleep in the swing, but I make funny noises mom said. I don’t know why people make fun of me. I don’t make fun of them when they make funny noises. I have heard some strange noises from my dad.

You never know what it feels like to be home until you have gone away and returned. No one wants to go anywhere so mom and I stayed home and I got to play with some of my toys. Dad had to work, but he stayed home all day and rested. It was a quite day because everyone needed some rest. The dog and cats are happy to see us and they were laying around wagging their tails. I even allowed the cats to come by me.

We never even got dressed. I stayed in my jammies and so did mom. It was a nice family day. The only thing dad did was play his guitar on the TV again and mom did some things around the house. It was a cold day anyway. When we left there were leaves on the trees and when we came back, all the leaves were gone. One of the grandmas told mom that it got very windy and all the leaves blew off the trees. She said it was like a leave blizzard.

We left Minnesota at 11:00 and we stopped once so mom could change my diaper and we all ate at Burger King. It is a cold day again. When we left Minnesota, it was sunny and as soon as we get into Wisconsin, it was cloudy. We only made one wrong turn and we had to do a turn that was not nice, but I was sleeping through it. Dad even squealed his tires. I heard the big people talking about it.

We took a different way home and it only took us six hours. We stopped two times without grandma and my aunt because they were in a rush to get home. Everyone was tired, but not me. I was so happy to be home and with my animals. I slept in my own bed and it felt so good.

The wedding was at 5:15, so a shuttle bus took everyone from the hotel to the golf club where the wedding and reception was. That way everyone could drink and not drive. Mom and dad took the car because we could not stay until the first shuttle came back for us at 10:00. Dad said there was no way I could stay up that late.

Before we got ready, I took a nap and we went into the pool. I loved the pool. The water was so warm, mom took me in, and I had fun. I am going to be a swimmer, you know. I am a fish. Then we had to get ready for the wedding.

At the wedding, we had to have family pictures taken outside and it was windy and cold. I was a trooper and even smiled for the man with the camera. Then the wedding ceremony only took about 15 minutes and that uncle and aunt were married. Then we had to stay congratulations and run inside to get warm.

I was pretty good and grandma held me, the other grandpa held me, everyone held me. I was having fun until I got crabby when dad was eating. Grandma took me for a walk in a room and kept walking in circles around the room and I liked to keep moving so I was happy. Then she gave the stroller to a cousin named Katelyn to push me so grandma could finish her tenderloin.

They had pumpkins everywhere with tea candles inside and orange, brown and another color balloons everywhere. The tablecloths and napkins were brown. The mom of the bride made all the centerpieces with sparkles of pumpkins, squashes and something else. It was beautiful. We had to leave at 9:00 to go back to the hotel so I could go to sleep because I was going swimming in the pool again Sunday morning.

Saturday morning we all went to the Mall of America. It is so big. I was in my stroller for a while and then I needed my mom to carry me. I was a momma’s baby and she carried me all over the place. I even fell asleep as she carried me. There are so many stores there and they are big.

We were at the Mall of America for a long time and then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. I had to take another nap with mom. I didn’t sleep so good the night before in my pack and play, so dad and mom took turns sleeping with me in the big beds.

We have pictures of the Mall of America and the Lego City. It was so cool. Mom is going to get them ready for me to post here. I am a ham for the camera and I liked getting my picture taken everywhere.

The park was so busy. There were roller coasters and carousals and there was a creature walking around. It was blue and I think mom said it was a shark. Mom wanted to go on the rides, but dad said he was not going. We couldn’t find the other people so mom couldn’t go and get scared. Grandma wouldn’t go with her either because she is a scary cat mom said.

Later I am going to tell you about the wedding. It was fun for a while.
