Colder Days And Getting Dark Earlier

Published by blondiewrites at 11:24 am under 2nd Month Edit This

It is getting colder out and we don’t have the windows open anymore. I liked the smell of the air, but mom told dad that she has to pile the clothes on me when the windows are open. I get so hot when she makes me wear so many heavy clothes. She just wears a t-shirt and shorts. I can’t figure her out. I have a long sleeve shirt on and long pants, plus some socks. I still refuse to let mom put shoes on my feet.

I am having a problem figuring out what time it is now because it is getting darker out earlier and it is confusing me. I used to know when mom and dad ate that we had hours to do things before dark. Now, after mom and dad eat it is dark and we can’t take walks together. I heard mom saying that daylight savings time is coming soon then it will get dark even earlier. This is going to mess me up big time.

The cat got out yesterday and I was smiling. Mom was not happy, she had to catch it and bring it back in the house. I think she should have let it go. I don’t think it wants to live with me as much as I don’t want to live with it. It is a nosey critter. It always wants to smell me and tries to push me out of the way when my mom is holding me. I will get that cat some day.
