Rainy Days And Saturday
It rained all day yesterday and it was dark and gloomy. I like it when the sun shines because it is brighter and I can go outside. Mom and dad wanted to go shopping, so we went to Wal-Mart for some things. I was good because dad was pushing me and making me smile. I had fun. People were coming up and saying how cute I was and my daddy just beamed, he was so proud.
We had to get some dog food, cat food and cat litter for the darn cat. We didn’t get anything for me because mom said I had a lot of clothes already. I had to get diapers though. We got the good kind again. Mom had a coupon for the bad diapers, but dad said no way are we using them again. I was happy about that.
Then when we got home, dad played his guitar thing again. He practices all the time, but he is not getting any better. Mom bowled after dad was done and she did good. My mom and dad like to play games. I can’t wait until I get bigger and can play with them. I bet I will be better than they are.
We went to bed early because it was so dreary outside. We watched TV until we all fell asleep.
I miss those nights when my children were baby’s and we would just pile up in the bed and watch tv.
