From The Mouth Of A Baby

My mom writes everything down in my baby book. Yesterday she wrote about hurricane Ike. She said that we got rains from Gustav and missed Hanna, but it looking like we will get some rains from what is leftover from Ike. I finally know who these names are and what they are doing. I watched it on television. It looks like a big rain funnel.

I need to learn more about this weather type stuff so I can understand what everyone talks about. They just keep talking and assuming I know what they mean.

I am sleeping in my bassinet at night and I do so good. I hate being on my back, so I roll on my side. No one believes my mom that I do this because I am to little, but it is true. Every time mom lays me down on my back, I roll to my side. I am so comfortable and I sleep longer mom said.

You will be happy to know that my new diapers are still working just fine. I think I had a bad batch or they were just bad diapers to begin with. I am happy we found new diapers so I do not make a mess every time I go to the bathroom. Mom and dad are happy as well. Now if mom could just empty the garbage a little more, we would never smell the diapers in the garbage. She should do it every day, but dad said that it is expensive to replace garbage bags every day. I think he should buy little bags to solve that problem.

No one complains about the smelly cat litter in the garbage every day. Bye now, I am going to take a bath. It is starting to be fun time for me and mom.
