Rainy Day Blues
Yesterday it rained all day so we had to stay in the house. Since it was dark and gloomy outside, I took a few naps during the day. I think that made mom happy because she took a nap with me. When I woke up every time, I had to cry to wake her up. She was happy to sleep with me. Since it was rainy, the dog didn’t ask to go outside either. He holds it for a long time. I can’t do that. I have to go all the time.
Dad came home from work and said he was tired, so he laid on the couch and held me for a while and then he fell asleep, so I napped with him to. We did a lot of sleeping yesterday and then mom and dad had dinner. There food looks so good, but I only get a bottle. Some day when I am bigger, I think they might feed me good food like the ones they eat.
Mom and dad played a couple games of bowling before they went to sleep. Mom beat dad and she was happy. We had an early bed because we were all tire from a gloomy day. It is cooler outside and mom thinks that winter is coming early. What is winter? Dad said we were going to have a cool fall. What is fall? They need to explain things so I know what they are.
